"Windermere... you're still in business?"
Over the summer my office marched in our annual community parade here in Columbia City.
During the parade a person was over heard yelling from the crowd...
"Windermere... you're still in business?"
Yes, we are.
Over the past couple of weeks there have been several other real estate companies in the real estate area letting agents and employees go, getting rid of services vital to the education and managment of their agents, and closing offices down altogether.
These have not been easy times for the real estate industry.
I am not typically the corporate cheerleader. Not because I don't see value in whom I work for, I just think that you should be genuinely excited before you start trying to solicit business based on your company.
Today I am grateful and proud to tout what a great company Windermere is!
I hate seeing people lose their jobs, even if they are competitors. However, it has made me exceedingly glad that the owners of the office I work out of have been very wise in how they have ran their business over the past few decades. They have ran it so well, that in a time where other companies are going out of business, ours is seizing opportunities and adding new branches to the company.
So yes, Windermere is still in business and will continue to be for a very long time.
